As a Soto Zen Buddhist Priest I explore eros through the practice of sacred intimacy. This exploration has deepened my understanding of the interplay between spirituality and sexuality. I am a quiet, strong, patient graceful man who can provide a place and space to assist you, or you and your partner, in exploring and recovering your sensual and sexual life.

A native of the rural Northwest, my youth included tree planting, forest fire fighting, and studying performance arts and dance therapy. My interests led me into performance as therapy for the terminally ill, psychodrama, and massage therapy, and eventually developed into certification and private practice in Body-Centered Psychotherapy. Later, a Masters degree in Psychology led to work in Child and Family Therapy.

With the Body Electric School I explored the joys of masculine sexuality, and the interplay between power and surrender.  I studied the tantra teachings of Daniel Odier, rediscovering the profound depth of playfulness and the healing of simple attention.  I am certified by the state of California in Sexological Bodywork. I continue to work with other sexual energy professionals in the synthesis of my own process.

I seek to provide grounded comfort, compassion and acceptance. I prefer to bring my creativity to the needs of the moment, rather than follow a planned course. I especially enjoy working with:

--  those who have experienced physical trauma, like illness and surgery, and want to enjoy their bodies again
-- those who serve others physically or emotionally
-- those who struggle with their own desires and thoughts
-- men who are curious about exploring safely with other men

I'm also very interested in the uses of ritual in the transitions of life.
